my new daw darlin'
I love recording with Apple's Logic Pro or Garage Band but unfortunately in don’t own a mac ;( So I’ve been working with Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar, Nuendo etc. and it’s all very good but I’m not an audio engineer and I miss the simplicity when I just want to record a quick song. Well well well…. I stumbled upon Studio One. Installed it and started recording immediately. It is so simple to use, drag and drop and all that, but it’s also just as versatile as any other pro DAW.
I’m stickin’ with Studio One now ‘cause, here’s the cool thing, when I get a mac (and I will!) Studio One also runs on a mac and I can migrate all my projects.
Oh! and by the way… I’m using a pretty old laptop and it hasn’t crashed one single time like everything else I’ve used so far. I just love when things work!
