The European Acoustic-Strings Workshop will bring together 25 Learners and Musicians from different European Countries to Innsbruck - Austria.

The Vision is to create a musical movement for integration and better understanding in Europe: „Playing for Integration“

The Idea of this intercultural Workshop, which will be held from the 14th of May to 21st of May 2011 is

• that learners from different European countries make music and learn from each other.
• that music provides a valuable way in which different people can listen to one another and learn from each other.
• that one person’s creativity can be greatly influenced by other people’s inputs and ideas.
• that long lasting bonds are formed leading to future partnerships and friendships.

The Songwriter Workshop is part of the GRUNDTVIG-Program of the EU.
The European GRUNDTVIG-Program supports activities to educate grown-ups and has a broad understanding of learning.
