Cheers Jonas - That's an old song - and one in which the lyrics don't make much sense, but I'll post them up at some point anyway! Sorry won't heal all your lies was the first song I listened to on this site. It really got into…

Introduce yourself:
If only I had a lot of interesting things to say, this introduction would be, well, interesting.

I am but me and my music is but mine. I hope it finds a warm, comfortable place in your ears. If it doesn't, please tell me; I need all the help I can get.

Enjoy Songwriter workshop everyone!

P.S I was born just to the East of London, and now I live in Bristol - England's first 'Cycling City' and a real cultural and historical hotpot. Visit if you haven't - for the music and the fun.

I write songs about whatever inspires me, and frankly, from day to day that changes like the weather. Although the prevailing wind here is South-Westerly. That doesn't really mean anything actually, and sometimes my songs too are good old fashioned meaningless lumps of sound; recorded through the peep-hole on-board mic on my little old laptop.

Take care folks!

Pete

I agree with Jonas that you should get on the feedback group and give it a whirl. Embed your player there with lyrics if you want detailed feedback. This version is cool though. You're really stretching out with G-band. I'm so glad you finally came over to Mac from the Dark Side. Anyway, my only gripe is that drum track in the beginning is a bit too off-kilter. Distracts away from the amazing guitar thing you do. For perspective, I'm happy to post that live recording if you like. (I also have house of the rising sun from that night....epic.)

It's fantastic to have you on the site Pete - I*m gonna pop out your juke box and listen to your uploads while I slave on with all my projects :)
