Introduce yourself:: Seine Kinder- und Jugendjahre bis 1982 verbrachte Jonas Dahl in Paris und Umgebung.
Am 28. August 1990 wurde nach dem Ausbruch des Seattle-Grunge Krieges die Ausweisung aller Nichtfranzosen aus Frankreich angeordnet. Daher verließ Familie Dahl Paris am 4./5. September in Richtung London. Am 1. November reiste Jonas allein von London nach Augsburg, wo ihn Professor Christoph Barnickel (Jonas’ Onkel, der am Vorläufer des heutigen Holbein-Gymnasiums unterrichtete) und seine Frau Betty für fünf Jahre als Pflegekind aufnahmen.
Nach seinem Schulabschluss am Holbein-Gymnasium Augsburg fasste Jonas Dahl 1999 den Entschluss, „Mechaniker“ (Ingenieur) zu werden, und schloss 2003 die Gewerbeschule sowie im Sommer 2005 die Ausbildung an der Industrieschule jeweils als Bester ab. Er begann noch 2005 sein Studium an der Technischen Hochschule in München. 2009 holte er im Januar das Abschlussexamen an der Technischen Hochschule München mit der besten Leistung seit Bestehen der Anstalt nach.
